Just over a week ago we joined the cream of the Brighton Twitterali at the Black Lion pub for the 1st ever Brighton Twestival. Not only was it a great excuse to hang out with other geeks but the event raised over £2k for www.charitywater.org

For the 2nd year running, we were commissioned by the Brighton Festival to produce a promo video to drum up support for this years event. We were fortunate enough to interview the likes of Anish Kapoor, Angelika Kirchschlager and Hofesh Shechter at locations varying from the Covent Garden Opera House to the Brighton Pier. It’s no secret that here at Fat Sand we love our gadgets and when the iPhone came out, half the company was queing up outside the O2 store. Countless applications have been released for the iPhone since it’s launch but none have quite taken our fancy as much as the Quadcam. It’s very simple, it takes 4 or 8 pix in a row and arranges them into a cube. The results are much like what you get from the Lomo series of cameras. We love it!

We’ve just finished work on a promo for the Brighton Food Festival. Covering over 5 events last September we were lucky to enjoy some amazing food and perfect weather. You’ve got to check out the event next year and in particular the Fiery Food event on the Old Steine.
